Such “buzz words”

In my music lately I’ve had certain words just pop into my head over and over again. These words, as simple as they sound, are ‘acoustic’ and ‘original’. The sheer beauty that comes form the simplicity of playing acoustic guitar and coming up with original lyrics just amazes me. Some of the best songs of all time were made this way. Even though it’s accessible for almost anyone to try, only the few and elite can write a song that sticks.

Ed Sheeran just continues to inspire me. Get ready to see some of my covers of his songs.

The first work I’ve posted in forever! I made this piece from using only ball point pens. This is two sheets of 5 X 3 ft. paper. It was a lot of work but I enjoyed making it and am satisfied with the end result. This piece was made in November 2011. Enjoy :)

Diptych, Oceans of lost and Streets of lost

Two oil paintings I did earlier on this year. I tried to connect them by using the same color scheme and exploring the theme of being lost, both being in different environments.

2 x 4ft. Oil painting on masonite dedicated to Jamie Hubley. An emotional portrait for me to paint.
